What’s Right for you

This was a speech offered a Toastmasters. She had some good counsel. Any misinformation is the fault of the note-takers.

– A long time ago, she was a massage therapy student. Competed for program and was a teaching assistant. Sitting with a group, coming up with a single word to describe each person. No one could find a word that described her. They came up with the word Vibrant. She wasn’t’ sure if that was good. Felt like Wilbur in Charlotte’s web.
– Would have been happy to be radiant, terrific, or wonderful.
– Feels like the posterchild for a midlife crisis.
– She decided to do something different, so she decided to life coaching. Bachelor’s and masters in psychology but never wanted to do that.
– Wanted to spread more love, compassion, and optimism.
– Inspired by Deepak Chopra. Inspire is her mantra. Inspired to raise people up, empower them to accomplish hard things.
– She promotes Self-acceptance and self-forgiveness.
– She was told to read the right books, make the right friends, serve in the right way.
– We must create our own right way.
– Must acknowledge your uniqueness and give up self-expectations.
– Forgive yourself for being less perfect and accept yourself for who we are right here, right now.
– the only right way is the way that’s right for you.
