Here are some notes from a church meeting. Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.

– When you build your house Christ needs to be a part of your life.
– Respect for one another that regards one’s companion as the most precious thing on earth.
– A soft answer: not raise our voices in arguments. If you do, molehills become mountains.
– Arguments are bound to happen. It’s important to remember a soft answer turns away wrath, proverbs 15:1.
– Family prayer: I know no single practice that will have more solitary practice in your life then – kneeling together at the start and end of each day. Thank him or each other in the presence of one another.
– Has found how calming and helpful family prayer can be.

– Slow down while you read scriptures. Maybe takes notes in the margin or underline important parts.
– This includes following chri8st by doing ordnances and covenants.
– Ordnances is a sacred formal act performed by the priesthood. These are saving ordnances baptism, marriage sealing.
– Other ordnances; baby blessing, administrating to the sick or ordnances and not saving like the others. Not required.
– Covenants: are the promises you make. A sacred agreement between gold and a group of people. Also, ordinances are accompanied by a convent.
– We have consequences when not adhering the convent nets.
– Ordinance: baptism, confirmations, priesthood, temple endowment, sealing name/ bless children
– Concentration oil to administer to the sick.
– Convenient: Mosiah 18:18 8-10 server him, keeps his commandments. That he may pour out his spirit more abundantly upon you.
– Why are covenants so import?
– How do I best prepare myself for these ordinances and covenants

– Covenants are promises and god is good on keeping his promise.
– When we fulfill our end of a covenant we become like God, because we’re becoming good promise keepers as God is.
– God work is to bring to pass the eternal life and glory of man.
– The temple garment is a token for our internal commitment to God.
– Put away the watch when attending the temple. Pause and learn during the session.
– The only way we can be together as a family in eternity is by the performing ordinances of the gospel.
– Some people when they are folding their garments will refele3ct upon what they each represent.
– When people live together outside of marriage there is a lack of commitment that each partner will stay in the relationship.
– Some will laundry and iron their temple clothes as part of their honoring the convenient.
