In 2013, I attended a workshop on different types of business ventures. Here are some of the things I learned about tax deeds as a business venture.

Learn how to navigate the state county sites that you want to buy property from.
Building drawing can show how the home was built out.
Tax collectors record in county = gives history. Look for owner occupied
Owner occupied may show the owner with the add. Of the property tells you that they’re still in the home.
Check the property condition: what it looks like, ascetics, surroundings. Look for address on door. Look from satellite.
Neighborhood looks clean
Look how property in the past and what is the trend of sales.
Get good info with tax collector or treasurer and county assessor. Property appraiser is usually whoever is in charge of assessing the taxes.
Property history is very important
Map of the neighborhood and see what other properties sell for
Look at home values and listing
Property history Look for problems. Watch out for the city has its separate taxes on it.
For help from adviser need to know a. sale, bid amount, link to sale, and link to some history. Go to the country option and county records and copy the web site link and past it in and look it up.
At least have the numbers, and physical address, check on on zillo. Narrow down to 3 and have them review properties.

Have something to add to the list? Please do so in the comment section of this blog. Thanks
