Here are some notes from the church.

  • Reference the annual monarch butterfly migration. Butterflies collect and spread pollen. They make the world more beautiful and fruitful place.
  • They travel thousands of miles one wing flap at a time. Cluster in trees at night to protect themselves at night and to stay warm.
  • We are also on a journey back to Christ. We are all seeking to be one Christ; we are then one as se seek the same goals.
  • Families can have family counsels to better achieve the same goal
  • Have your goal toward Christ and the Holy Ghost and counsel you through promptings.
  • In the flooding in Texas an elder quorum leader arranged for dozens of boats to rescue people. Member and non-member to get them to a functional church building until they could get help.
  • Just serve: began by the church but it’s for all projects from anywhere.
  • One way to view the increase of disasters is it provides an opportunity for people to learn how to pull together.
  • We are too easily distracted by the noise of the world via social media and such but we need to devote our attention more to Christ’s second coming.
  • If you’re able to help yourself first and be self-reliant first your are in a positions to help others. Like putting air mask on yourself on a plane before you do a child.
  • Think of two soda cans: one is empty and the other has soda. Squeeze the empty one and it will crush under pressure. Squeeze the one that has the soda inside to resist pressure. Just like the gospel can give us support.
  • Book: believe in Christ: Steven Robinson.

Why not just play along?

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedin

I had a question asked of why conservatives don’t embrace climate change:

Quote: I don’t understand about climate change deniers is why they want to deny something that can’t harm them in any way if they choose to embrace it.

I gave the following response.

There are five reasons.

  1. Those pushing for climate change are profiting from it.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/larrybell/2013/11/03/blood-and-gore-making-a-killing-on-anti-carbon-investment-hype/#42607f6332dc http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/251232#ixzz5IV9HMA4a

http://www.climatedepot.com/2018/03/11/book-details-al-gore-quest-to-become-worlds-first-carbon-billionaire-profited-off-climate-lobbying/

  1. There is not a consensus of scientists about climate change. Some lose their jobs if they disagree.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/12/21/congress-obama-admin-fired-top-scientist-to-advance-climate-change-plans.html

http://www.thegwpf.com/meteorologists-sacked-for-having-the-wrong-views/

  1. Loss of rights. Forcing the consumer to buy items to follow the dictates of climate change even though not every agrees to the cause. For example.

  1. Mercury light bulbs. Using mercury bulbs seems worse than the original bulb. Clean up process:

https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=mercury%20light%20bulb%20disposal&&view=detail&mid=780E11850238BF967854780E11850238BF967854&FORM=VRDGAR

  1. States are restricted to using an inferior dish soap

http://articles.latimes.com/2009/apr/06/nation/na-soap-smuggling6

  1. Fined for too long showers in CA.

http://www.breitbart.com/video/2015/04/05/gov-jerry-brown-californians-to-be-heavily-fined-for-long-showers/

  1. Churches can’t use oven cleaners on their ovens anymore. Can’t find an article but we can’t use our ovens to cook but only to warm something up.

  1. Climate Gate:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/jamestaylor/2011/11/23/climategate-2-0-new-e-mails-rock-the-global-warming-debate/#334532d27ba6

http://www.climatedepot.com/2015/11/19/scientists-declare-un-climate-summit-goals-irrational-based-on-nonsense-leading-us-down-a-false-path/

Other articles I’ve seen say there is no basis behind the climate gate.

  1. For some climate change had become a religion and it you don’t agree with my religion you’ll be prosecuted or criminalized.

http://www.tomatopages.com/folsomforum/index.php?showtopic=42320

https://www.redflagnews.com/headlines-2016/california-introduces-law-to-jail-anyone-who-questions-man-made-climate-change-first-amendment-now-dead

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/07/31/new-study-majority-of-climate-scientists-dont-agree-with-consensus/

  1. People think that though many people don’t believe that climate change is on the heads of humanity, that we don’t take our part to take care of the planet. Even those who don’t feel that climate change is on all human heads are still involved with recycling, avoiding putting pollutants into the water system, solar panels and other tasks. Some do service project to help or donate to causes to help the world.

I acknowledge that there is corruption on both sides when it comes to the climate change agenda:

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2007/feb/02/frontpagenews.climatechange

I have a huge excel sheet of various articles on different subjects but apparently, I’ve lost a number of those links. With googles new search feature I am not able to find them again. So some of these are from doing a new search.

I hope this can give some explanation behind you question what harm can it do.

Again, sorry for taking so long on my response. You asked in good faith and I wanted to respond in good faith.

When readers expressed concern about some of the sites I reference I responded:

I had other sources but Google is not displaying some the article I’ve seen in the past. I’m concerned there is a filter involved. I wish I would not have lost the original articles like a one how Climate change is a way to fleece wealthy nations. No luck at all. Shoot.
When it comes to sources, I’m sure the liberal ones won’t share opposing opinions.  🙂

These are from the writer’s conference of life the universe and everything. Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.

  • Many conferences are very similar.
  • Be willing to walk up to someone and meet.
  • Ask them a question. Why are you here?
  • People are generally interested in talking about themselves.
  • It people start stepping away from you then move on to someone else
  • May ask this is your first time here.
  • You have to create two personalities. The introvert is one and the other outgoing author.
  • You don’t have to do a certain thing a certain way. Doing a pitch face to face or pitch over the letter. The second worked. Better.
  • Make sure you have time to be along and give my smile a break.
  • See who the guests are who you want to meet.
  • Writing groups can give authors energy.
  • Look up sexual harassment policy
  • Don’t follow someone in the bathroom to talk to them.
  • Watch body language.
  • Check deodorant.
  • Some females need to have an exit strategy.
  • Don’t be afraid of things to make them happen.
  • Some will introduce you and talk you up.
  • Example of bad networking.
  • Volunteer to create a writer’s group.
  • Should swap honest reviews.
  • Swap critiques with people who write in the same genera
  • Reviews: Ask what went well? What could benefit with a second pass? Like what areas cause confusion.
  • Don’t hold people up after panels or bathrooms.
  • Remember that the internet is forever. If you wouldn’t say it to their face then don’t say it.
  • The writing community is not very large. What you say about someone else can get back at them.
  • You can delete items and you can still look them up.

Hi friends and neighbors,

I’m excited to enter this stage of the primary election! It’s heating up!

Recently, my opponent publicly celebrated a recent poll (poorly reflective of the 3rd district) showing him in the lead and that the election was all but decided.

I remember this being done during the last general election. Had we believed and followed the pollsters and the media pushing their numbers, Hillary Clinton would be sitting in the Whitehouse today!

We Utahn’s largely refuse to elect “establishment” candidates any more. A large majority of us didn’t vote as we were told two years ago and we won’t this year!

ARE YOU UNDECIDED?

Transparency of my political views and goals are most important to me so that your vote is not swayed by polls or media reports.

Spelling caliber

Good: caliber

Bad. calaber

The word can mean very competent or the degree of merit. It can also refer to the inside of the barrel of a gun. I’ll use a gun visual image to remember the spelling. It is the middle of the word I spell wrong. But think of the .i. as the barrel of a gun with a bullet exiting. Thus it is spelled with an i.
