Here are some notes from the church.

  • Reference the annual monarch butterfly migration. Butterflies collect and spread pollen. They make the world more beautiful and fruitful place.
  • They travel thousands of miles one wing flap at a time. Cluster in trees at night to protect themselves at night and to stay warm.
  • We are also on a journey back to Christ. We are all seeking to be one Christ; we are then one as se seek the same goals.
  • Families can have family counsels to better achieve the same goal
  • Have your goal toward Christ and the Holy Ghost and counsel you through promptings.
  • In the flooding in Texas an elder quorum leader arranged for dozens of boats to rescue people. Member and non-member to get them to a functional church building until they could get help.
  • Just serve: began by the church but it’s for all projects from anywhere.
  • One way to view the increase of disasters is it provides an opportunity for people to learn how to pull together.
  • We are too easily distracted by the noise of the world via social media and such but we need to devote our attention more to Christ’s second coming.
  • If you’re able to help yourself first and be self-reliant first your are in a positions to help others. Like putting air mask on yourself on a plane before you do a child.
  • Think of two soda cans: one is empty and the other has soda. Squeeze the empty one and it will crush under pressure. Squeeze the one that has the soda inside to resist pressure. Just like the gospel can give us support.
  • Book: believe in Christ: Steven Robinson.
