My employer offers these videos. Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.

 

  • Red meat should be eaten in moderation.
  • As an alternative meat, consider shrimp or thick-skinned fish. To prevent them from sticking on the grill consider bushing them with oil.
  • You can buy shrimp pre-cooked. Cook for about 2 min with peppers and 0pineapple.
  • To cook shrimp from raw, make sure they are white are pink so they are cooked through.
  • Cod and saman is good choice because they are thick fish.
  • Portobello mushroom can be a good alternative to hamburgers.
  • Grilled chicken is a good alternative for bbq. Often can put chicken in mermaids sauce in a zip lock.
  • Side dishes are great alternative on bbq. Put corn, oil/butter with pepper, and wrap it up in tinfoil.
  • Some will use a wire pan to cook shrimp or vegetables. Mix with oil and pepper.
  • Farro mediterrian salad is an alternative to mayo-based salad.
  • Four-bean salad has black beans, garbanzo beans, cannelloni beans, and pinto beans. Remove from cans, rinse off salt water, and let dry in a strainer. Add a mediam size onion, handful of cherry tomatoes cut. Mix them together. The dressing is made from 1/w cup olive oil and red wine vinegar, two tea minced garlic. Red pepper flakes is options if you wants some heat. Season with fresh picked slanta herb.
  • The left over bean salad could be blended and make a bean dip. Add water if needed.
  • Can roost pineapple slices, watermelon or grilled peaches.
  • It’s important to have a meat thermometer. Poultry is cooked at 165 F
  • Uses long handled instruments for turning or flipping and not burn yourself. This includes a long handled brush.
  • If the brush is used for meat, clean the brush before using it on vegetable etc.
