These are notes from a church meeting talk. Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.
– President Nelson: The objective of the church is to increase their faith in God and to strengthen their families.
– To survive spiritually we need to have an alternative strategy.
– Shift our perspective so everyone recognizes the home as the center of gospel learning.
– The ultimate responsibility for gospel strength relies upon us.
– Sometimes one can feel overwhelmed to follow the gospel is a tool of the adversary to get us to not try so hard.
– One thing we should make a priory is personal and family study. Be proactive in that goal.
– As a parent, we are responsible for their own long term conversion but also for their children.
– Consistent gospel study can influence the lives of children as they become adults.
– The rears can fly by if we do or not study the gospel.
– Consistent gospel study and offer good for families.
– One family will have two levels of studying. Regular when the young kids are wake. When they go to bed and then continue the lesson for adult and teen deep conversations.
– Keep to having family reach a high spiritual place. Teach them what Christ has given them. They will have a desire to do good that will fortify them to not pursue sin.
– Studying the gospel as families is essential in keeping our sprites strong. We will be blessed on a daily basis.
