Sharing What is in Your Heart

This talk, at church, is inspired by Elder Urdorf. Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.

– In the face of persecution, the church has grown stronger.
– In some areas of the world, church membership is decreasing.
– Christ’s great commission to us to go about the nations to teach the gospel.
– How can we as Disciples of Christ fulfill the great commission of our lives?
If you feel shy about sharing the gospel
1. Draw close to god. First great command love god. The closer you feel closer to god the more joy of his light will shine from you. Prayer helps us get closer to God. Prayer is a gift from our heavenly father God knows how much we need him.

4. 3. Strive to walk the path of discipleship. As you share the gospel do it by love. Some may never join the church it does not save your love for them.

6. 5. Trust the Lord to perform miracles. Don’t be discouraged if someone does not accept the gospel immediately.
