From our Utah County Commissioner Bill Lee: Mask issue for schools

Got this as an email. This is a submission to caucus corner.

My request to exempt Utah County schools from the state’s [mask wearing] mandate will be discussed and voted on by the entire Utah County Commission this Wednesday, July 15 at 3:00 pm. If you would like to make your voice heard, be sure to attend the meeting, which will be at the following location:

Utah County Administration Building

100 East Center Street, Room 1400

Provo, UT 84606

Immediately before Wednesday’s Commission meeting, a group of citizens will assemble from 2:30-3:00 pm to peaceably express their concerns about the state’s K-12 school mask mandate. I (Bill Lee) will be addressing the crowd right at 2:30pm. If you would like to attend and listen to my remarks, here is the address:

Utah County Historic Courthouse—WEST STAIRS

51 South University Avenue

Provo, UT 84601
