Here are some notes from a church meeting. Any inaccuracies are the fault of the note taker.

– A master has three servants. He gives money to servants of different capabilities. Two servants doubled the amount of money they were given. The third hid his talent.
– If you don’t strive and improve upon the talents you were given and not improve them you will lose them altogether.
– Talk; parables of Jesus in conference
– Work with the talents God has given you. It can be seen by the interests you pursue. Include different activities. Study and ponder your patriarchal blessing. Consult friends, family, and others and see what they see.
– Our first priority is our family and siblings. Parents and siblings are in the best position to encourage others of their talents.
– Acknowledge gods hand in our success. Some talents were given before our birth. Some were developed on earth.
– Parable of the Prodigal Son. Luke 15
– Jesus: mentions parables during interacting with some people. Gave example man will leave the 99 sheep to look for the one, then gives the parable of the parable son.
– Son asks for his inheritance and squanders it. The elder brother stayed obedient. Father happy that his son was dead and was found again.
– Our Heavenly Father love for us boundless.
– Shows how precious a soul is to God.
