These are notes from a finance class offered at the church. Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.

– There are a lot of things to buy. Rent, food, bills, shoes for the kids, insurance,
– Stay away from credit cards and personal credit.
– President Hinkle said: look to the conditions of your fiancés. Dispelling yourself to avoid debt
– Pay off debt as quickly as you can and free yourself from bondage.
– Change is hard and can be uncomfortable.
– Hearts and habits need to be changed.
– We need to live within our means.
– Some couples have contentious relationships when money is involved.
– President Hinckley: self-reliance cannot be obtained when debt hangs over the household.
– We are stewardess over our finances.
