Inspired by talk from Elder y Wilson. May 2018 Here are some notes from church. Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.

– How do you take the Holy Spirit as your guide?
– The Holy Spirit is the life of Christ.
– We often take it for granted, we expect it to be just around.
– Book: more than the tattooed women. She didn’t want to join the church but she liked the missionaries. She realized later she liked them that they had the gift of the Holy Ghost.
– Other people who don’t have the Holy Ghost can often see people who are different from those who do have it.
– Sometimes we will let the concerns of the world fill our minds and we don’t think of neutering the Holy Ghost.
– Often we are one prayer away from getting help.
– Different ways we can take the Holy Spirit as our guide obedience, repent, live a clean and faithful life.
– The Holy Spirit responds to us as individuals via personal revelation.
– The more we recognize the moments we have the spirit the more we can acknowledge future events.
– Often people say think that spirit is not responding to them. The spirit is trying to speak to us we are just not acknowledging it.
– We need to access the spirit during calm waters so that when there is a typhoon we can still recognize it.
– Prepare the land or the soil prior to getting the prompt of the spirit by how you live your life, your humility, and openness to counsel.
– 3 Nephi 9:20: a broken heart and contrite spirit
– One person will keep a notebook in their possession and write down a moment of inspiration.
