Took some notes at church.

  • When God created Adam, God saw that it was not good for man to be alone. He created a helpmate, Eve. They bore sons Cain and Able. Cain slew Able, God asked “Where is able? Moses 5:34 Cain answered, “Am I my brother’s keeper?”
  • Psalms of David: Love will strengthen.
  • We have a heavenly home and a heavenly family. We are our brother’s keeper.
  • We can be a brother’s keeper by doing work for the dead.
  • Temple works enable those of the past to progress to their goals.
  • Paul: though example of the belief in word and conviction, in Christ and spirit in faith and purity. (Paraphrase)
  • Bishopric spends countless hours being a brother’s keeper.
  • Ward members give valiant help.
  • People help the homeless by feeding sandwiches.
  • What do you know of the savior Jesus Christ? Man died and went to a room to be interviewed. Another man in the room asked: “What he knew of Christ. The man answered and talked that Christ was the savior, the son of God and other details. He told interview all he knew. A second man also died and the interviewer in the room asked the same question. The second man dropped to his knees saying “My savior.” He recognized him.
  • If we open up our hearts and feel the spirt we can perceive how we can help others.
  • Christ offered the ultimate scarified out of love.
