Club and organization growth:

These notes came from a toast master’s training but the principles could be used in various circumstances. Service to the members can be illustrated by the acronym rise.

–          R = respect

–          I = integrity

–          S = service to the members

–          E = dedication to excellence

You can also accomplish club growth with the acronym service:

–          S = set reasonable goals. We need to create a list they need be accountable for and when those goals we’ve achieved. Adjust the deadlines as needed. We need to have dates of your goals. And you want to involve your members to help you accomplish your goals as an organization.

–          E = and power members. Get more experienced members to mentor and help new members. -Encourage member goals.

–          R = refresh your attitude. Negatively can influence and reflect in the club in a negative way. Club prize is easy to maintain. Show what went into different goals and make sure you accomplish those goals. Have members give an audit of their tasks. Enjoy each other’s company. Happiness in the club attracts new members. A cloud placed together stays together.

–          V = value achievement. Recognize completed material in speeches and in leadership. Recognize members’ accomplishments.

–          I = inspire each other. Keep old members progressing forward they need to accomplish their own goals just as the new members do. Make sure all members a half is what they get. Give surveys to find out the opinions of your members and their satisfaction. See how you can make meeting savers. Contact members who have not, for a while. If you’re not coming, find out why and improve your club with those observations. Ask, what are your goals? Suggestions for any prospective member or inactivated member.

–          E = embrace change. Try a new idea let it fail to succeed. If it works keep it if not even behind. See how each member can contribute to the club.
