Several months ago, I attended several lectures related to American history and politics. I took notes and I would share them.

–          For something to be revived it first must be lost.

–          There is worse in the human soul. Every person has individual rights.

–          Natural rights represent life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather of tireless minority.

Tonight, I attended caucus voting for delegates that would represent my political party at the state level. Last time we had the caucus meeting we had 107 people which is a great turnout. Tonight we only had about 30 people which is very disappointing. It didn’t help when there is so much confusion as to where the meeting was going to take place at. This is not the first time that advertisement for political events has been mixed in presenting location.

It’s good to see certain people that are very involved with the neighborhood and care about sharing a vote.

As I become more politically involved, I see how much time I have wasted by not becoming informed about local and national events in past decades. As I become more involved, I’m saddened with the fact of all the years I did not participate further than I did and have my vote count more usefully on the local level. I hope to make up for that now. It is my wish that other people will also catch the vision of having their vote count and not let things happen to them without them either condoning it are taking steps to stop it.

My invitation is for people to be informed and when we see some wrong with own political party or another political party that we stand up for values. And also, that we don’t support people that don’t have integrity. If you continue to vote for people that have a lack of integrity. The cat would be complaining about the corruption of our leadership when we continue to support them. And that’s for me, as well as everyone else.

I invite each of us to become more involved involved and informed.
