How do I stand out against the competition:

These notes may have been from last year’s symposium, I’m not certain, but still good advice about writing.

–          Tell a great story. It needs to move the audience emotionally combined to a three of your favorite things pink zombies.

–          Creating something of quality.

–          Present your own distinct voice.

–          Need to have a character flaws.

–          As you write, ask yourself does what is happening. Connect with you.

–          Like to have a solution the end of the story, i.e. this is how we cope.

–          Can relate to the hero, maybe even someone you know.

–          If you have a hard time with finish a project. Then something else is missing, such as passion for the project.

–          Know your story. Needs to be doing world to life with character dialogue with beginning, middle and end.

–          Who is your intended audience?

–          Screenplay, book by syd field.

–          Start is foreign to the story as possible to the moment they get a connection with the characters do a story you want to tell.

–          Need to have something that is different. How can you be different?

–          If you can’t tell you overall story in a minute, then it needs more. Have an idea before you write a story for you want to take the story.

–          Your story is not finished at the first draft that is where the writing begins.

–          Don’t just talk about the project, do it
