Punching up your Presentations:

Last month I attended a workshop called Stand and Deliver. The speaker, Kirk Duncan, is the founder of Three Elements company. He gave instructions on how to give successful presentations. I want to share some of my notes I took. I feel they could be useful when either doing storytelling, or giving a presentation on writing or some other topic. After some of his comments. I will add some recommendations of my own.

–        Don’t die without sharing the specific message that exists inside you

–        Connecting with people involves eye contact.

–        You want to present your full energy level during every presentation even when there were few or no one in the audience.

–        Don’t be boring. Add deflections in your voice.

–        Always deliver 100% in your presentations.

–        Set rules for your audience.

A. Have a high level of respect.

B. Have your mind present.

C. manager communications devices , such as respect.

–        When you use rules you move up a level

On a personal note, here are some ideas that I would like to add on what might make a better presentation.

–        Provide some variety in your presentation, either with personal stories or humor.

–        Relate the topic of your speech to something that everyone can relate to, such as may be a current event.

–        Maybe connect the concept of your speech to something that can contain imagery that the ice might be old relate to. After the speech

–        as you create the text of the speech, consider all possible interpretations to each comment you make.

–        If you provide some fax in your presentation provides some references to help substantiate your authority.

–        An animated speaker can often keep the audience that are engaged in what you have to say.

If you some additional ideas of what you feel would be useful for giving a presentation, please feel free to share them. Thank you.
