Bad: Lightening

I consistently spell this wrong. If I pronounced this correct there would be no E. Here might be a silly way to remember no e. LightNING occurs in an instant. Light and zing it there and gone. Zing sounds like NING.  This is not so good of a mnemonic device; but, we’ll see if it helps until I come up with a better idea.
