Trials don’t happen because he mad at as. It so God can show us he loves us.
In today’s world, it is not enough that the church is true. We need to absolutely know that God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon is true.
Where will you go if you leave the church?

When you lose the spirit the veil of stupidity encircles us. The Holy Ghost never abuses anyone of us in any way. Only the ‘other spirit <Satan>” is the one who abuses us.
Making sense of suffering, book: our vision improves when our condition worsens. It creates an occasional window pane/pain to access the veil and reverently looks at the whole plan which is the same scene we can trust.
