Here are my notes for this week’s addiction class. The topic is on restitution and reconciliation:. Any inaccuracies in my notes are the fault of the note taker.

  • You need to be willing to commit God to remove your defects.
  • If you feel a sense of extreme anxiety (GULP!) during one of the steps. We need to go back to the previous steps and see if there’s something you have not completed all the way. This usually resolves that anxiety symptom of her.
  • Laura talks about the three A’s of family abuse: abuse, adultery, and being an addict.
  • Many of us face the time of our lives when we face extreme sorrel.
  • Extended family will likely need to receive restitution because they have also been affected by the actions of the addict.
  • In the book Mormon is the story of Alma the younger and the sons of Mosiah. They performed excessive sins that motivated many people to leave the church.
  • Be careful not to procrastinate meeting with those that you offended.
  • It is said that the sons of Mosiah perform the vilest sins.
  • Some of those affected by addicts have a hard time accepting their new life.
  • Alma 39:12 – 13
  • Love others and avoid judging the.
  • Be willing to do what is necessary to make amends. Study and understand.
