Addiction, Decide:

Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.

  • Addiction is when your life is in a holding pattern and not evolving to the better.
  • Thrill seekers stand at a crevice of a cliff may take a three second to make the jump. So we can take a moment to make a major decision.
  • Since the Old Testament, Heavenly father has always asked us to do sacrifices. So when we must sacrifice our will to God to overcome our addiction.
  • When a ship moves from a river to an open ocean there is a captain that is specifically assigned to manage a ship during this tricky transition. They take command of the ship to manage the turbulent waters. So Christ can be our captain in the transition in our lives.
  • During the war in heaven we made the decision for Christ to be the director of our ship.
  • We are not giving our will to Christ as we overcome addiction we align our will to Christ’s.
  • The scriptures say “Man is that they might have joy.” Joy is when we are at peace. Joy is the absence of your anguish.
  • You take action on your addiction when we choose the pain of the solution over the pain of addiction.
  • A comment in class was made how a third of heave’s hosts who rejected God’s plan are now fully engaged in fighting us on earth now. A counter comment was made of Elijah showing a servant a hidden army. The servant was intimated the forces they were facing. Elijah revealed the armies of angels on their side that were previously hidden.
