The following are some notes I took at a previous life universe and everything symposium.

• Censorship is imposed from the outside; a denial of the ability to choose. Boycott or choice is imposed from within.
• Is PC (politically correct) language a form of censorship? If certain words are blocked out the language; than it limits thought and speech when dealing with certain subjects.
• Censorship on a cultural/social level only occurs when an individual exceeds the bounds set by the culture.
• PC thought tends to censorship from the other direction. for example you shouldn’t write about black person unless you are black.
