Ok this word is being a pain for me. This is my fourth attempt to use a mnemonic to remember the word. Let’s see if this will help me remember that there is a LY in anaLYze. Sometimes when you want to learn the truth of something you must face the possibility that truth may be harsh and hard to accept. Lye is a harsh chemical. But ironically is very used for making soap which is cleansing. Thus, as we analyze truth and see it for what it is, it can be as cleansing as LY of inaccuracies.

That’s very philosophical, um? We’ll see it it will help me and others remember the ly in analyze.
