Coming up with a mnemonic for the spelling of this word is a bit of a challenge. It’s the TENT part of the word I have a hard time getting correct How about this: Let’s say that a bunch of people who consistently vote on certain issues the same way. Therefore they stand under the same tent of certain policies. That may be one idea.

I’ve very open to a better idea of how you remember the Tent in con-sis-tent.  A second observation on this word is that its three words into one: con sis tent.
