I couldn’t resist:

Tonight our city had an emergency practice of what we should do in case of catastrophe. We put up colored cards in our home windows to indicate

Green: everyone is ok.

Yellow: there is an injury and

Red: there is a fatality.

We have block captains who are assigned to each street, who check the condition of residents of each home. Then everyone is supposed to meet at the local church.

Well in the spirt of the event I made an arm rest out of a towel and squirted barbecue sauce on the towel and my arm. It looked pretty gory. Then I limped to the church.

Hope it contributed to the mindset of the drill.

Have you ever done anything to make a standard practice fun? Please share what you did in the comment section of this blog.
